Unemployment is at a historic low and west-central Wisconsin is poised for increased growth.
Kathy fought to expand broadband access in rural Wisconsin, promote entrepreneurship for small businesses, and match young workers with good-paying careers. She’s focused on creating more opportunities for future generations.
The rising cost of health care hurts our families and our economy.
While Washington struggles with ever growing health care costs, here in Wisconsin, Kathy voted for a plan to hold those costs in check and even reduce insurance premiums. Lowering health care costs through innovation and best practices will benefit business and individuals in our area.
Education and worker training are essential for today’s workforce and future generations.
Kathy successfully fought for significantly higher funding levels for K-12 schools and advanced training programs for the jobs of tomorrow. Rural schools in our area are receiving large increases in per pupil and transportation aid.
Kathy has deep roots in our area and is not afraid to stand up to special interests.
Kathy has an independent streak and is not afraid to take on the special interests or even stand up to the leadership of her own party. Born and raised in the district, Kathy is committed to doing the right thing, because it is the right thing to do.

Wisconsin’s 23rd Senate District

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Thank you for visiting my website! I am running for Wisconsin State Senate because I believe that we have made a real difference in our state since I went down to Madison, but there is more to be done!

Wisconsin’s economy is growing and unemployment is at a record low. We are investing heavily in K-12 education, especially in rural areas, and are expanding worker training. We’ve worked to stabilize and even lower ever rising health insurance premiums. Our state is in the best fiscal shape it has been in years. I will continue working hard to make Wisconsin and the 23rd Senate District a great place to live, work and raise a family.

I want to be your voice in the State Senate. One of my greatest pleasures is helping constituents, just like you, with issues and concerns that they have. I am honored to have served as the State Representative for the 68th Assembly District, and with your help, hope to serve you in the future as State Senator for the 23rd Senate District.

I would appreciate your support and your vote in the upcoming election on November 6th!

Thank you,
